Larsen Resigns As Magesi FC Coach

Clinton Larsen has resigned as head coach of Magesi FC with immediate effect.
The decision comes after Magesi suffered a 3-0 defeat to the All-Stars team at Orlando Stadium on Saturday. This marked their fourth consecutive loss across all competitions.
“It is my last game today with Magesi Football Club,” Larsen confirmed on SuperSport TV.
It appears that their Carling Knockout Cup victory over Mamelodi Sundowns last month may have proven to be a turning point for the worse. The club has been winless since that triumph, leading to their current position at the bottom of the Betway Premiership table.
Larsen joined Magesi in January of last year when the club was competing in the Motsepe Foundation Championship, successfully guiding them to safety.
In his first full season with the club, Larsen achieved remarkable success, leading Magesi to the MFC title and securing their promotion to the top flight.
However, Larsen faced challenges in the top division. He reportedly experienced difficulties behind the scenes, expressing dissatisfaction with various aspects of the club’s operations and questioning their professionalism.
Larsen is now linked with potential coaching roles at either Richards Bay or Golden Arrows, both currently without head coaches, in his home province of KwaZulu-Natal.
