Pirates Announce Pre-Season Friendlies In Spain
Orlando Pirates have confirmed their pre-season friendly matches for their July camp in Spain, ahead of the 2025/26 season.
The Soweto Giants, who are rumored to be close to appointing Rulani Mokwena as their new coach, will be based, likely to be in Marbella, for the third consecutive pre-season. They will be there from 8-20 July.
Their schedule includes a clash with English side Bolton Wanderers on 11 July, a match Bolton confirmed several days ago.
Pirates will then face Pafos FC of Cyprus, who are set to feature in the UEFA Champions League qualifying round, just three days later.
Their third pre-season friendly is scheduled against Spanish side Las Palmas on 17 July. They will conclude their pre-season tour against another Spanish team, Granada, on 19 July.
The club will be aiming to maintain their impressive unbeaten record in Spain, having not suffered a loss in their previous two pre-season camps there.
