PSL Star Completes East African Switch To Tanzanian Giants
Sekhukhune United has confirmed the sale of star winger Keletso Makgalwa to Tanzanian giants Simba Sports Club ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
The 29-year-old Mamelodi Sundowns academy product flew to Dar es Salaam over the weekend to finalize personal terms and undergo a medical before completing his permanent move to the East African powerhouse.
Babina Noko released an official statement confirming that all transfer documentation between the two clubs has been finalized.
“Sekhukhune United Football Club confirms the departure of winger Keletso Makgalwa, who has completed a transfer to Simba Sports Club in Tanzania,” read the statement.
“Keletso spent two memorable seasons with Babina Noko, making an outstanding impact, particularly during his debut campaign. His performances earned him numerous Man of the Match awards and culminated in nominations for the prestigious PSL Footballer of the Season and Players’ Player of the Year awards.
“Everyone at Sekhukhune United thanks Keletso for sharing his talent with us and the unforgettable moments he gave the club and our supporters. While Babina Noko will miss his quality, we wish him every success as he embarks on this next chapter.”
Hailing from Mokopane, Limpopo, Makgalwa leaves Sekhukhune having established himself as one of the PSL’s premier creators. Over his two-season tenure with Babina Noko, the dynamic winger made 66 appearances across all competitions, registering six goals and providing 20 assists.
