Marumo Gallants has confirmed that they will be unable to participate in the friendly match – the Cufa Cup – against Kaizer Chiefs on Sunday.

The match was scheduled to take place at Toyota Stadium in Bloemfontein “due to a contractual dispute,” Gallants stated. However, the club indicated that if the matter is resolved, the game will proceed as planned.

Both clubs were taking advantage of the ongoing FIFA break, which coincides with the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. Bafana Bafana secured a 5-0 victory over Congo at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Saturday.
