Pirates Deem Otladisa Surplus To Requirements

Sportswire has been informed that Orlando Pirates coach Abdelsam Ouaddou has deemed winger Katlego Otladisa surplus to requirements, and the player should either see his contract terminated or loaned out.
The 28-year-old joined the Buccaneers in the 2023/24 season, signing from Marumo Gallants.
Otladisa played nine games in his first season with the Buccaneers and managed to have one assist under the guidance of the Spanish mentor Jose Riveiro.
Last season, the Buccaneers loaned Otladisa to Sekhukhune United in the January transfer window, where he played nine games and scored one goal.
Now, Sportswire has gathered that the former Gallants winger is not in Ouaddou’s plans for this season, and the Moroccan mentor has asked the club to either release him or loan him out if possible.
“Otladisa is not in the coach’s plans this season, and the coach has asked the club to release him or loan him. If they loan him, I think they can loan him to Orbit College, Chippa United, or Sekhukhune United again,” a source told Sportswire.
This season is Otladisa’s last season with the Buccaneers, as his contract will end in June 2026.
In January next year, the 28-year-old will be eligible to sign a pre-contract with any team, as the Buccaneers don’t have an option to renew his contract.
