Sekhukhune Bolster Squad With Timm Signing

Sekhukhune United have continued their active recruitment drive, officially confirming the acquisition of midfielder Miguel Timm.
Timm is the third new face to join Sekhukhune ahead of the upcoming season, following the arrivals of Sphiwe Mahlangu from TS Galaxy and Bradley Grobler from SuperSport United.
Timm, a combative midfielder, joins Sekhukhune as a free agent after he departed from Orlando Pirates at the end of last season.
He saw limited action with the Buccaneers last term, appearing in just three matches across all competitions. Midfield duties were primarily handled by Thalente Mbatha and Makhehleni Makhaula.
His season was hampered by an ankle injury, with his last appearance on the Pirates bench being in January during a home loss against Stellenbosch. Notably, he did not play a single league match for Pirates last season. His longest time on the pitch was a 17-minute cameo in the MTN8 second-leg semi-final against Cape Town City in August.
Despite his limited playing time last season, Timm’s tenure with Pirates was marked by success. During his time there, he secured three MTN8 titles and two Nedbank Cups, and was a league runner-up on four occasions.
The 33-year-old, who joined Pirates from Marumo Gallants ahead of the 2022/23 season, featured in 60 matches across all competitions for the club, providing one assist but not scoring any goals.
