Chippa United Confirms Major Signings
Chippa United has confirmed the signing of Goodman Mosele from Orlando Pirates on a season-long loan, along with several other players.
This marks Mosele’s second loan spell with the club, as he also played for Chippa during the 2023/24 season. During that time, he featured in 25 matches across all competitions, even scoring a goal against his parent club, which reportedly frustrated the Pirates camp.
Mosele is the second player Chippa has signed on loan from Pirates this season, following the arrival of Azola Tshobeni. The Eastern Cape-based side has also secured the services of Sammy Seabi, Ayanda Sithole, Thamsanqa Magwaza, Khaya Mfecane, and Thulani Mini.
Chippa United, now coached by the newly appointed Sinethemba Badela, will kick off their 2025/26 season by hosting defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Saturday at 15:00.
